On 19 September 2019 representatives of project partners gathered in Rēzekne for the regular “Trans-form” project steering group meeting to update and discuss the progress of project implementation.

In the first part of the meeting, the manager of project partner Rēzekne SEZ Sandra Ežmale talked about the directions, goals and achievements of the administration activities and gave information about that which has been achieved at Rēzekne SEZ. Later, project manager Laila Vilmane and information specialist Līga Upeniece presented the progress of the project over the project implementation period of more than a year, detailing the progress of the activities in each of the activity packages, according to the project description.
Project meetings, development of technical documentation and concepts for brownfield revitalisation, as well as restoration of specific brownfields, experience exchange visits and training for municipal practitioners are and have been implemented according to the project implementation timeline. L. Upeniece said that a total of one hundred publications have been prepared within the project, which the partners have published on their websites and social networks. The next major event the partners are preparing for together is the study visit to Eindhoven, the Netherlands, in November.

The total amount of funding allocated by the European regional development Fund is 442 296,58 euros.
