Rēzekne SEZ Authority announces project competition

Rēzekne Special Economic Zone (hereinafter - Rēzekne SEZ) Authority announces project competition 2019 for Rēzekne SEZ commercial companies. The aim of the competition - promotion and support of commercial activities of Rēzekne SEZ companies, and infrastructure development financing.

To receive support from the Rezekne Special Economic Zone Business Support Fund, the Rezekne SEZ commercial companies have to carry out activities in accordance with the priorities of the project competition - Rezekne SEZ territory research and development programs; implementation of Rezekne SEZ support and training programs; arrangement of infrastructure and real estates in Rezekne SEZ territory; co-financing of projects developed and approved by Rezekne SEZ commercial companies - if they correspond to the eligible costs.

Long-term investments of Rēzekne SEZ commercial companies in infrastructure and modern technologies can be co-financed in the project competition, if at least one of the following criteria is reached as a result of their implementation: new work places, new (environmentally friendly) technologies or increase of export volume.

Supported projects are co-financed from the Rezekne Special Economic Zone Business Support Fund in the amount of 10 550 EUR with the aid intensity up to 50% of the total project costs.
