“Rēzeknes Dzirnavnieks” receives the award of the best maintained enterprise of Rēzekne SEZ
Grain elevator “Rēzeknes Dzirnavnieks” RSEZ AS has received the award for the first place in the competition “The Best Maintained Enterprise of Rēzekne SEZ 2017”. The second place in the competition was granted to plywood mill “VEREMS” RSEZ SIA and the third place – to metal processing enterprise SIA “LEAX Rēzekne” RSEZ. Awards were granted in the solemn event on December 1, which was organized by Joint Municipal Institution “Rēzekne Special Economic Zone Authority”.
This competition was organized for the first time, in order to recognize the effort and input of Rēzekne SEZ enterprises in their maintenance, creativity and visual appearance. Economically active producers and service providers are the face of Rēzekne City and Rēzekne Municipality. These enterprises are often visited by municipality, state and foreign delegations and investor, which highly value the production facilities and the general appearance of the enterprise.
Promotion prizes of the competition were granted to Rēzekne SEZ enterprises RSEZ SIA “IRBIS Technology”, “Energy Resources CHP” RSEZ SIA, “New Fuels” RSEZ SIA, “NORDKOM” RSEZ SIA, RSEZ SIA “LATSTAB”. During the event enterprises were also congratulated by cooperation partners of Rēzekne SEZ – Northern Latgale department of Latvian Chamber of Trade and Commerce and Rēzekne Academy of Technologies.
In the competition enterprises were evaluated according to the following criteria: access to the enterprise and maintenance of road, layout of the territory of the enterprise and general appearance, arrangement of lawn and decorative plantation, creativity and individuality in the improvement of the territory, parking spaces at the enterprise as well as sign of the name of the enterprise and presence of flagpole. Additional points were also granted to entrepreneurs, which participate and receive recognition in other competitions. Evaluation of the competition “The Best Maintained Enterprise of Rēzekne SEZ 2017” was made by the commission composed by Members of the Supervisory Board of Rēzekne SEZ Aleksejs Stecs, Staņislavs Šķesters, Ilvija Pastare and the CEO of Rēzekne SEZ Sandra Ežmale.
