Acquiring the experience of Rēzekne Special Economic Zone Authority in administration of state aid, on January 26th delegation of Latvian School of Public Administration visited Rēzekne SEZ. In scope of the visit representatives of the delegation were introduced to the basic principles of functioning of special economic zones and freeports in, as well as to the work of Rēzekne SEZ Authority and its achievements in the previous years.
The main aim of the visit of Latvian School of Public Administration was to introduce representatives of various state institutions to the support available for small and medium-sized enterprises in the Latgale region. The visit was organized in scope of European Social Fund project "Professional Development of Human Resources in Public Administration for Improving Regulations to Support Small and Medium-sized Enterprises" implemented by Latvian School of Public Administration. Representatives of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development, State Chancellery, Patent Office and Latvian National Archives participated in the visit.
During the visit participants discussed the possibilities of improvement of public services and legal regulation for the promotion of entrepreneurship.
